Frequently Asked Questions

IPHawk's AI is trained to detect infringements across various brands. The more brands it protects, the better its AI algorithm gets at detecting any infringements. Free sign-ups help us improve our algorithm and efficiency.

IPR protection defends the value created during a startup’s journey

  1. Came up with a great idea
If you have a unique hard tech innovation, don't publish any papers or disclose it in any public forums before you file a simple provisional patent.
  2. Found a co-founder
Sign a founders' agreement to document the terms, when everyone is cooperative and optimistic.
  3. Thought of a great name
Search if someone else is already using the name or even a phonetically similar name. Don't wait for a legal notice.
  4. Found the perfect .com name
Reserve your domain and social media handles. Monitor if someone else registers a similar domain and prevent any future branding problems.
  5. Hired a Freelancer
Have freelancers and employees sign an NDA and an IP Assignment agreement.
  6. Raised Angel funding
Get your compliances in order. File your trademark and any other filings you might have missed.
  7. Find Partners for Growth
License your IP for use by partners and affiliates. Maintain your brand value by monitoring how they represent your company
  8. Ready for Due Diligence
Document IPR assets, filings and strategy in preparation for a Series-A round.
  9. Dealing with Competitors
Create an IP Portfolio to create a barrier for new entrants and defend your position against incumbents.
  10. Explore a Merger
Boost your valuation with strong IPR documentation and clear titles.
